"I am a Regional Manager with a national charity in England & Wales. Eluminas Ltd. was appointed by my employer to offer professional team and individual development expertise. As part of an integrated approach I engaged with Sue on a coaching programme over six months.A pre-cursor was the feedback from a 360 degree survey of my line manager and reports. Probably because I am (much) nearer 60 than 50 and have a long background in management, at the outset I was cautious about the process and opening up to someone who might want to analyse my professional and personal characteristics. However, very quickly I found Sue easy to relate to and I felt able to rely on her being confidential and professional. She impressed me with her commitment, ability to focus on my issues and overall approach. Over time we addressed all my objectives (self-identified and arising from the feedback) and I have learnt much about myself and my performance as a manager. While establishing and rehearsing ways of improving my time management have been advantageous, the payback to my personal development has been particularly satisfying. As a direct consequence of Sue's coaching I have emerged more confident and out-going. I have too, come to realise it is as important to address my personal needs as much as those of the people I manage. Thank you Sue and well done for reinvigorating a dinosaur!"
